As Civil Engineers, we rely on weather data to predict large rain events in order to design proper drainage. Much of that data is provided by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration or NOAA. There’s all sorts of useful data and information on their website, but one of my favorites is the National Weather Service National Radar Mosaic. This groups together all of the the local RADAR stations in to one large animated radar map. This is particularly useful on a day like today! Click the photo below to check it out.
